We now have purchased the over 65 flu vaccinations. Please be aware demand is high this year and we are trying to set up clinics to cater for this. Please contact the surgery to arrange an appointment.

We will be announcing further information regarding the under 65 flu vaccinations at a later date when we get notification of the date they will be arriving.

We appreciate your patience in this matter.

When you attend please consider the following:

  • Arrive on time. Please do not arrive more than 5 minutes early for your appointment. If you do, you may be asked to wait in the car park until your appointment time to ensure we maintain social distancing within the practice.
  • Wear a short sleeved top or a light jacket which can be remove easily. This will help to keep the flu clinics moving.
  • Be "Covid Safe". Please do not attend the practice if you have Covid symptoms, remember to stay 2m from each other, use the hand sanitiser provided for you. Please be aware that we will be using alternative entrances and exits to adhere to social distancing guidelines

Due to the current COVID crisis the surgery is operating under the following procedures:

All appointments with the GPs will be triaged until further notice.

If the GP feels you need to be seen in surgery they will offer you an appointment once they have assessed you over the phone.

During this time, the online booking system will be suspended. We request that you call between 08:30 - 12:00 if you have a matter that needs to be discussed with a GP, if possible. This will allow GPs to triage and manage the workflow. If the lines are busy please use the e-consultation service.

The surgery doors remain locked and we ask that you must not come to the surgery if you have COVID19 or a high temperature and/or a cough. Please stay at home and contact 111.

Essential nurse appointments which cannot be defered will still be carried out however there are procedures in place if you are a shielding patient.

If you have your own transport and can attend surgery using this you can still attend for appointments however if you use public transport you will need to contact the surgery for further information.

We have now reverted back to no longer taking prescription requests via telephone as of 1st July 2020. You can order your prescription through your nominated chemist, patient access online, the NHS app, via online consultation at the top of this page and also by prescription slips via the red box at the surgery.
